Mission
The Pennington County Medical Reserve Corp exists to support the disaster response and recovery capability of Pennington County and the surrounding Black Hills of South Dakota by identifying, training, and equipping medical and non-medical volunteers to work within the framework of a multi-agency incident command system.
Vision:
The Pennington County Medical Reserve Corp will provide skilled and unskilled volunteers to support a disaster response due to emerging public health threats (pandemic influenza), natural disasters (floods, wild fires, extreme weather), and man made threats (bioterrorism, WMD).
